How to use the coupling safely

The coupling is an intermediate connecting part of each motion mechanism, which directly impacts the regular operation of each motion mechanism. Therefore, attention must be paid to:
1. The coupling is not allowed to have more than the specified axis deflection and radial displacement so as not to affect its transmission performance.
2. The bolts of the LINS coupling shall not be loose or damaged.
3. Gear coupling and cross slide coupling shall be lubricated regularly, and lubricating grease shall be added every 2-3 months to avoid severe wear of gear teeth and serious consequences.
4. The tooth width contact length of gear coupling shall not be less than 70%; Its axial displacement shall not be more significant than 5mm
5. The coupling is not allowed to have cracks. If there are cracks, it needs to be replaced (they can be knocked with a small hammer and judged according to the sound).
6. The keys of LINS coupling shall be closely matched and shall not be loosened.
7. The tooth thickness of the gear coupling is worn. When the lifting mechanism exceeds 15% of the original tooth thickness, the operating mechanism exceeds 25%, and the broken tooth is also scrapped.
8. If the elastic ring of the pin coupling and the sealing ring of the gear coupling is damaged or aged, they should be replaced in time.

2. Product Description

This mixing mill is mainly composed of machine body, driving part, nip adjusting device, safety equipment, pin universal coupling, emergency stopping device, etc.

2.1 roller:The rolls’ surface is made of chilled cast iron, hard and anti-wear with the hardness of 68 ~ 72hsd.The rolls’ structure is hollow style and the surface is plated nickel-phosphorus alloy.

2.2 machine frame, gland
Machine frame and gland adopt casted structure after annealing and processing.

2.3 base
We adopt whole base welded structure after annealing, completely processed by precise machine tool.The base is of EPT rigidity, not deformed and the surface is smooth and anti-wear.

2.4 the transmission part
Ac motor drives through speed reducer slow down the speed, realizing the relative rotating of front roller and rear roller.Motor and reducer are connected through elastic ring coupling.

2.5 gear box:Reducer adopts zq-85,zsyf-450, zsy,ngw model.

2.6 nip adjusting equipment
This mill adopts EPT adjusting mode, the nip range is 0.8-15mm.

2.7 machine safety protection device
In order to protect the safety of main parts of the machine, we configure this rubber mixing machine with safety pad protecting device.When the machine works overload, the safety pad will break to avoid producing damage to main parts of the machine.

2.8 brake equipment
This rubber mixing machine adopts magnetic plug brake.Once the magnetic plug works, the rolls won’t rotate 1/4 circumference of roll.

2.9 emergency brake equipment
Press-button type emergency stop equipment, both configured with one group front and back of the machine.

2.10 stop guide
This rubber mixing machine adopts steel stop guide.The part contacting with rolls is inlaid with nylon.

2.11 rolls cooling method

Notice of installation  

1. The base-plate must be plane and stoutness, and the base-plate must be screwed down and shockproof

2. The connecting shaft of prime mover, gearbox and operation device must be coaxial installatios

3. The diameter tolerance zone of input and output shaft is H6, the holes of fittings(such as couplings, belt-pulley, sprocket wheel and so on) must properly mate the shaft, which prevents bearing from breakage because of over-loose mate

4. Drivers such as sprocket wheel and gear must be fitted close to bearings in order to reduce bending stress of hanging shaft

5. White assembling motor of WPD reducer, it is necessary that proper amount of butter applies to the worm shaft input hole and keyway, avoiding assembling too tightly and rusting after using for a long time

6. When ordering or using all kinds of WPD type, if the motor weight is bigger than the common, supporting set is required

Notice of usage

1. Before using, please check carefully whether the gearbox model, distance, ratio, input connecting method, output shaft structure, input and output shaft direction and revolving direction accord with requirement

2.  According to the requirement of selecting lubricant oil in the product manual, please fill proper category and brand lubricant. And then screw on the vent-plug; Unlock the small cone-plug of vent-plug. Only after doing these, reducer is already for starting up running. The proper brand and adequate lubricant oil is required, replacing oil in time conforming to the request of product manual is also necessary, especially after using first 100 hours, it is required refilling new oil

3.  When abnormal circumstances occur, please stop and check reducer per solutions and reasons for faults of reducer (allowable highest oil temperature is 95, under this temperature limit, if oil temperature no more goes up, please let reducer continue running)
