1. Alto índice de reducción y alta eficiencia. 
Cuando el reductor de velocidad cicloidal apta la transmisión en una etapa, el índice de reducción puede alcanzar hasta 1:87 con una eficiencia de mas de 90%. Si esta maquinaria adopta la operación de múltiples etapas, el índice de reducción será mayor.
2. Estructura compacta y tamaño pequeño. 
El reductor de velocidad cicloidal adopta el principio de manejo planetario y el eje de entrada y eje de salda están en la línea de un mismo eje, por lo tanto el redactor de velocidad es de pequeño tamaño.
